FLEET MANAGEMENT is a fundamental activity to those companies that aim to monitor their vehicles.

Sleep mode is the basic function of B.OND. which reduce to the minimum battery consumption.
On a regular basis, or on time set by the user, B.OND. performs daily “wake-ups” to detect the  position of the vehicle, or others monitored asset, than transmit it during the wake-ups.

USE CASE 1

WEEKLY SLEEPING MODE SETTING

B.OND. sends vehicle’s position once a week allowing monitoring through App or Web platform.
B.OND. awakes once a day to check the presence of any incoming setting change.
Expected battery life, in this operating mode, is ensured for about 48 months*
This configuration is promoted as a back-up of a traditional powered Satellite system that, if the vehicle is stolen, can be detected by a scanner and then removed.

DAILY SLEEPING MODE SETTING

B.OND. sends vehicle’s position once a day allowing monitoring through App or Web platform.
B.OND. awakes once a day to check the presence of any incoming setting change.
Expected battery life, in this operating mode, is about 24 months.*
This configuration allows users to know the daily position of every owned vehicle.

FAST TRACKING

Fast Tracking mode of B.OND. is one of the device’s operating status, which can be activated on the App, to generate the sending of GPS location every 3 minutes starting from the first periodical awakening. Fast Tracking mode allows the continuous tracking of the vehicle.

USE CASE 1

TRANSPORTATION OF VALUABLE OR RISKY GOODS

A vehicle that transports valuable goods which does a one-hour trip every day with Fast Tracking mode on, assures to whom is monitoring its regularity. Once the trip is ended B.OND. can be switched back into Sleep mode (it can be reactivated any time).
Battery’s life, in this mode in ensured for 84 one-hour trips*.

Connection once a day plus fast tracking every 3 minutes.

Sending position once a week plus fast traking every 3 minutes.

USE CASE 2

TRACKING FOLLOWING A THEFT

Once the theft occurred it is possible to activate the fast track mode that will allow, starting from the first useful awakening, to show the GPS location of the goods and to follow the movement by detecting its position every 3 minutes. This mode will last until the complete discharge of the battery or until this mode will be switched off.
This function allows reporting, to Operations centres and Security Forces, of all the information needed to retrieve the vehicle.
Battery life, in this mode, depends on the to the residual charge of the device at the moment of Fast Track activation.

GEOFENCE

B.OND. Geofence mode is a circular virtual area, definable on a map, with a varying radius starting from 100m. This mode allows managers to monitor the presence or the lack of vehicles in that area.

USE CASE 1

STANDARD GEOFENCE SETTING MODE

From the App, it’s possible to set the parameters of the area and the wake-up time.
When the device wakes-up, it sends the position of the vehicle and through the App, it’s possible to monitor if it’s inside the selected Area.

This operating mode allows, for example, to know if all the owned vehicles are back to their deposit at the end of a working day.
Expected battery’s life, in this operating mode in ensured for 17 about months*.

USE CASE 2

SETTING OF THE NIGHT MODE GEOFENCE

Night Geofence allows monitoring of fleet or construction site vehicles, trailers and machinery during periods of inactivity (night-time, holidays).
Up to 5 awakenings can be set every night to monitor the presence of the vehicle inside the area, if the vehicle doesn’t appear to be in that area at “wake-up time”, B.OND. issues an alarm notification. This could be a sign of theft! Following that alarm, it’s possible to track the stolen vehicle.
Expected battery life, in this operating mode, is about 5 months*

TRACK AND POSITION MODE

B.OND. sends vehicle positions, according to specific needs, on customizable time and shows them on mobile App or Web platform.
B.OND. can detect every position for Fast-Tracking mode, moving and parked assets. It also notifies and shows on the map every position when the Speed limit gets exceeded, temperature alarm happens, and geofence is overcome.

B.OND. gives the possibility to monitor different parameters in addition to Tracking and Position. For example it can be set to monitor the speed of the vehicle during transportation, or to check the temperature inside the cooled trunks. This will help companies to operate faster and safely.

USE CASE 1

TEMPERATURE'S MONITORING

From the App you can set a range of temperature which, on scheduled time, will be checked by B.OND. 

If the temperatures inside the vehicle are outside that range, B.OND., on its first periodical “wake-up”, will generate a specific notification.

This allows the monitoring of transportation of pharmaceuticals and frozen foods.

USE CASE 2

SPEED LIMIT'S MONITORING*

From the App you can set a speed range that should not be exceeded, this allows managers to monitor if driving and company rules are respected as well as the safety of goods, vehicles and drivers.

Every time B.OND. will send the position it will also generate a special notification if the vehicle travels outside the given speed limit range.

USE CASE 3

CROSSING BORDERS' MONITORING*

From the App you can set a notification sending for the country border is crossed.
Once enabled, every time B.OND. will send the position the App will automatically generate a special notification showing if the vehicle it’s travelling outside national borders.

*Border crossing monitoring does not affect the battery lifetime..
